My latest way to scare people into action over global warming is to:

1. Make them watch Waterworld

2. Ask one the following questions:

Do you want your grandchildren to have gills? Or do you hate your grandchildren?

If the world is covered in water and dominated by sea pirates, are you prepared to fight a Dennis Hopper type villan? Do you want your grandchildren to fight Dennis Hopper?

How much are the oil companies paying you to hate your grandchildren? Do you really love money that much?

What will you tell a child who evolved gills to cope with global warming? Will you explain that you didn't see the point in buying a hybrid?

If the person you are trying to convert does none respond properly, always result to a what if scenerio to show that even if recent warming is natural, it is still

better to assume that the worst is going to happen which means Dennis Hopper and sea pirates.
